Breeds

With so many breeds and many more trying to be recognized by the AKC CKC and others around the globe, each will carry certain traits.

All breeds pure or mixed will have certain traits that at times is a positive and a negative.
Every individual dog will have some sort of trait(s) that can surface with time or with certain causing stimuli's. Certain behavioral traits can also be influenced by the environment the dog lives in.

To correct or modify certain unwanted behaviors one must look deep to find the cause or underlying cause to bring the problem to light. Sometimes it's very easy to see and at times a lot of work is involved.

Covering up an unwanted behavior is like putting a bandage on, instead of finding the cause. Finding the cause is what will have a better impact in resolving the behavioral issue(s).

Pending the behavior; some owners want certain traits the dog is exhibiting while other owners don't want it.
That is why each case file will differ from one to another.

With some dogs nothing may be wrong with their behavior according to their breed, unfortunately the breed that the people chose was not the right match for them.
When choosing a breed the people should do proper research or talk to a professional trainer for their input of which breed would be best for their lifestyle & home environment.

Example: Don't go buy a breed like the Malinois if your not active, or have the time to exercise and mentally stimulate them.

People make the mistake of buying a breed because of movies, You tube videos and more...

Be vigilant in choosing a dog for your family.
